A project designed by Tom Hoblyn and sponsored by Homebase. Gold Medal.

The project was inspired by the Villa Lante in Italy.

The use of water was the central theme, discharging from a water garden on the roof into a still pond… tumbling into a bespoke dining room table and thence gurgling up into a circular pond.

Sawn Yorkstone slabs were used for the paving, table, benches and BBQ.

Stainless steel flashings and black steel posts on the building added a modern touch.

A stunning planting scheme cemented the Gold medal.
