Living Wall Maintenance

Olympic Aquatic Centre Installation for 2012

Living Walls require specialist maintenance to ensure that they look good all year round and provide maximum aesthetic and biodiverse benefits.  The presence of living walls in our urban landscape is increasing, keeping them looking good, helping the environment and providing habitats for birds, bugs and bees is essential.  Living walls have an important role to play in our future landscaping of cities.

Scotscape has a department dedicated to the maintenance of living walls throughout the UK consisting of experienced horticulturalists and irrigation operatives.  It is crucial that living walls are correctly fed, monitored and maintained, so that all of their benefits can be realised.

As well as maintaining our own living walls our team has an enviable track record for reviving walls which have not been maintained correctly back to their former glory, which is essential for clients who have invested in living walls.  Please do not hesitate to contact us if your living wall requires remedial works, we are always happy to help and have detailed experience with all living wall systems on the market.

  • We highly recommend Niall McEvoy and his maintenance team from Scotscape. Our living plant wall is located to the rear of our Georgian mid-terrace property in central London. The maintenance team have to cart tall ladders and the rest of their equipment through our recently refurbished lower ground floor kitchen-dining area to get outside to our plant wall and we appreciate that they undertake this with utmost care and respect. The team are always efficient, tidy and keep our much loved plant wall looking fabulous throughout the year.
